The Life of a Domestic Goddess

Happenings in my life and my thoughts of being a nutty mother of three spirited children. Art. Love. Good times and hard. In a nut shell...life through my eyes.

What really needs to be cut

I know schools have a tight budget and all, but really? Grass growing through the bleachers?

Lets just say I wasn't tickled fancy sitting there! The grass was too busy doing that for me!

Baking and Cravings!

These tasty treats are YUMMY, healthy brownies! I call them that but I got the recipe from the Hungry Girl's cookbook.

You only need TWO ingredients...
1 small can of pumpkin puree...

and one bag of brownie mix that comes in a box.
I use the mis that is less fat by the way.

I would have showed the box to you but during the ride home from my hot date last night at the grocery store with my husband, the box, well, just didn't make it. Because of the crazy way my husband drives, (I should say "crazier" than usual because as soon as we pulled into our driveway we realized we left some groceries in the grocery cart and went back to fetch them), the five gallon bottle of water spilled in the rental car's trunk and therefore we lost many boxes of food that fateful night. Good thing for plastic bags inside those boxes!

Anyway...

mix together well and put into muffin cups.
Bake them about 20 to 25 minutes on 350*...

then enjoy deliciously gooey, not-so-bad-for-you brownies!

I HAVE ARRIVED!!!

I just go round and round with which blog to do. I must declare this is my favorite one, so alas, no more ohlovelymay. How can I compete with being a true Domestic Goddess? I cannot fight the greatness inside. The goddess who has to emerge from the shadows of life must be in the present!!! I AM HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Whew! I turned off the emotional rouse of music as I made my speech so hopefully I will be more subdued!)
